देव दीपावली का पर्व कार्तिक मास की पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाया जाता है। इस दिन शिव की नगरी काशी में एक अलग ही चमक दिखाई देती है। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस दिन देवी-देवता पृथ्वी पर दीपावली मनाने के लिए आते हैं। घाटों की नगरी बनारस इस दिन दीपों की रोशनी से जगमगा उठती है। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि दीयों के प्रकाश से देवता पृथ्वी की ओर आकर्षित होते हैं। देव दीपावली के दिन दीपदान का विशेष महत्व है।
The festival of Dev Deepawali is celebrated on the full moon day of Kartik month. On this day a different glow is seen in Kashi, the city of Shiva. According to religious beliefs, on this day the gods and goddesses come to the earth to celebrate Diwali. Banaras, the city of Ghats, gets lit up with the light of lamps on this day. It is said that the deities are attracted towards the earth by the light of diyas. Deepdan has special significance on the day of Dev Deepawali.
इस दिन सुबह जल्दी उठकर गंगा स्नान करना चाहिए। इसके बाद सूर्य को जल अर्पित करें। इस दिन भगवान शिव और विष्णु की पूजा करना बहुत शुभ माना जाता है। दूर-दूर से श्रद्धालु गंगा स्नान करने आते हैं और काशी की देव दीपावली के दर्शन करते हैं।
On this day one should wake up early in the morning and take bath in the Ganges. After that offer water to the sun. Worshiping Lord Shiva and Vishnu on this day is considered very auspicious. Devotees from far and wide come to bathe in the Ganges and have darshan of Kashi’s Dev Deepawali.
धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार प्रदोष काल में इस दिन गंगा में दीपक दान करने से शत्रुओं का भय नहीं होता है। ऐसा करने से जीवन में सुख-समृद्धि और परिवार में सुख-शांति बनी रहती है। देव दीपावली के दिन सभी देवताओं और अपने प्रिय देवता का स्मरण करें और दीपक पर कुमकुम, हल्दी और फूल चढ़ाएं। 11, 21, 51 या 101 आटे के दीपक बनाएं और प्रदोष काल में नदी में दीपक दान करें।
According to religious beliefs, donating a lamp in the Ganges on this day during the Pradosh period does not cause fear of enemies. By doing this, happiness and prosperity in life and happiness and peace in the family remains. On the day of Dev Deepawali, remember all the gods and your beloved deity and offer kumkum, turmeric and flowers to the lamp. Make lamps of 11, 21, 51 or 101 flour and donate lamps in the river during Pradosh period.

कार्तिक मास की पूर्णिमा तिथि का आरंभ– 7 नवंबर को शाम 04:15 मिनट से प्रारम्भ होकर मंगलवार 8 नवंबर को शाम 04:31 मिनट पर समाप्त होगा।
प्रदोष काल में दीपदान के लिए शुभ मुहूर्त– 7 नवंबर शाम 05:14 मिनट से प्रारंभ होकर शाम 07: 49 मिनट पर समाप्त होगा।
The beginning of the full moon date of Kartik month – starting from 7th November at 04:15 pm and ending on Tuesday 8th November at 04:31 pm.
Shubh Muhurta for lamp donation in Pradosh Kaal – 7th November will start from 05:14 pm and end at 07:49 pm.
