दिवाली के मौके पर सुनीता ने विनीत से कहा कि वो उनकी फैन है. सुनीता विनीत से कहती है, मैं तुम्हारी बहुत बड़ी फैन हूं। गाना कभी बंद मत करो। बहुत से लोग आपको डिमोटिवेट करेंगे, लेकिन आपको गाना जारी रखना चाहिए। आपको कभी नहीं रुकना चाहिए। गोविंदा ने विनीत से यह भी कहा कि आप अपने करियर में बहुत सफल होने जा रहे हैं, क्योंकि आपके नाम में मेरे और मेरी पत्नी के नाम (Vi + Nit) के कुछ हिस्से हैं। इंडियन आइडल से पहले विनीत को 2005 में सारे गामापा में देखा गया था। शो के उपविजेता बनकर विनीत ने काफी शोहरत हासिल की थी। शो के बाद उनकी जिंदगी में शोहरत और दौलत दोनों आए। लेकिन विनीत अपने लक्ष्य से भटक गया और सब कुछ खराब कर दिया। जब विनीत को अपनी गलती का एहसास हुआ तो उन्होंने इंडियन आइडल में शामिल होने का फैसला किया।
