Singh Dev says bye as Panchayat Minister, causes havoc in Bhupesh cabinet
Raipur. Cabinet Minister with several important portfolios in Chhattisgarh government TS Singh Deo has resigned from the post of Minister if the Panchayat department out if sheet resentment., it is said that he was adamant on the dismissal of the striking MGNREGA workers. However when failed to do so, he decided to leave the department demanding regularization . The main reason behind the resignation of TS Singh Dev is said to be the non construction of a single house under the PM Aawas Yojana . The state government reportedly had given the reason for the noncontradiction of houses, that there was no fund available for this project. As a result as many as 10000 beneficiaries did not get there house under this scheme.Besides, the MNREGA workers had gone on strike, due to which the work had come to a standstill for 3 months and the workers had suffered a loss of wages of about 12 hundred crore rupees.
Recently, after the meeting of cabinet ministers with CM Bhupesh Baghel in the capital, senior minister TS Singhdev Dev was said to be terribly upset with the turn of events.. The reason for his dissatisfaction has been the ongoing bureaucracy in the state and the main formula for two and a half years. However, there was no split in the party and Congress ministers and MLAs did not disperse, leaving Singhdeo silent.
But in the end Bifre Singhdeo felt sad and decided to say goodbye to the post of Panchayat Minister of the state and sent his resignation from Ambikapur to Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi and state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
According to the information received, if Singhdev’s resignation is accepted, all other departments except the Panchayat Department will remain with him. If sources are to be believed, Mr. Singhdeo has accused the officials of the Panchayat Department that the minister was not being heard due to bureaucracy. The news of Singh Dev’s resignation has stirred the entire Congress, as he has sent his resignation to party chief Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel
