एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान बोनी कपूर ने कहा था कि मेरी बेटी की तुलना श्रीदेवी से मत कीजिए। मिली फिल्म के ट्रेलर लॉन्च इवेंट के दौरान बोनी कपूर ने कहा- हर किसी का अपना सफर होता है। हर किसी का अपना अलग तरीका होता है। अपने चरित्र को समझने और उसका हिस्सा बनने के लिए। यह श्रीदेवी की सबसे बड़ी यूएसपी थी। जाह्नवी भी कैरेक्टर में डूबने के बजाय कैरेक्टर को चुन लेती हैं
