T-20 World Cup : सबसे बड़ा उलटफेर टी20 वर्ल्ड कप के पहले ही मैच में हुआ. रविवार को हुए क्वालीफाइंग मुकाबले में नामीबिया ने श्रीलंका जैसी दिग्गज टीम को 55 रनों से हरा दिया. नामीबिया ने 164 रनों का लक्ष्य दिया था। पूरी श्रीलंकाई टीम 108 रन पर ढेर हो गई। नामीबिया के हरफनमौला खिलाड़ी ने पलटा मैच का पासा। जेन फ्रिलिंक और जेजे स्मिट ने 69 रनों की साझेदारी की। दोनों ने महत्वपूर्ण मौकों पर श्रीलंका के तीन महत्वपूर्ण विकेट भी लिए।

T-20 World Cup : The biggest upset happened in the very first match of the T20 World Cup. In the qualifying match held on Sunday, Namibia defeated a legendary team like Sri Lanka by 55 runs. Namibia had given a target of 164 runs. The entire Sri Lankan team was bundled out for 108 runs. Namibian all-rounder turned the dice of the match. Jan Frylink and JJ Smit put on a 69-run partnership. The duo also took three crucial Sri Lankan wickets at crucial junctures.

The hero of this victory was Jane Frylink. He performed with both bat and ball. Frylink, 28, scored the first 44 runs. Then also took two important wickets. Apart from them, David Wiese, Bernard Scholtz and Ben Shikongo also got two wickets each. Frylink was adjudged player of the match.

इस तरह गिरे श्रीलंका के विकेट :

पहला:  दूसरे ओवर की चौथी बॉल में 12 के टीम स्कोर पर कुशल मेंडिस (6) डेविड विसे की गेंद पर कीपर ग्रीन को कैच दे बैठे।

दूसरा:  टीम स्कोर 21 रन ही पहुंचा था कि बेन शिकोंगो ने पथुम निसांका (9) को स्मिट के हाथ कैच कराया।

तीसरा:  21 रन पर ही दनुष्का गुणथिलका बिना खाता खोले पवेलियन लौटे। शिकोंगो की बॉल हल्का एज लेते हुए विकेट के पीछे ग्रीन के दस्तानों में पहुंच गई।

चौथा:  6.3 ओवर की तीसरी बॉल में धनंजय डी सिल्वा (12) को फ्राईलिंक ने शिकोंगो के हाथ कैच कराया।

पांचवां:  राजपक्षे 11वें ओवर में शोल्ट्ज़ का शिकार बने। उन्हें शोल्ट्ज़ ने कुक के हाथ कैच कराया। दोनों के बीच 34 रनों की उपयोगी साझेदारी हुई।

छठवां:  हसरंगा भी बड़ी पारी नहीं खेल सके। वे 4 रन बनाकर आउट हुए। उन्हें शोल्ट्ज़ लिंगेन के हाथ कैच कराया।

सातवां:  श्रीलंका की आखिरी उम्मीद कप्तान दासुन शनाका (29) फ्राईलिंक की गेंद पर विकेट के पीछे आउट हुए।

आठवां:  14.2 ओवर में प्रमोद मदुशन शून्य पर आउट हुए। उन्हें लिंगेन और ग्रीन ने रन आउट कर दिया।

नौवां: चमिका करुणारत्ने (5) को स्मिट ने बार्ड के हाथ कैच कराया।

दसवां: दुष्मंथा चमीरा के रूप में टीम का आखिरी विकेट गिरा। उन्हें विसे ने कप्तान इरास्मस के हाथ कैच कराया।

Sri Lanka’s wickets fell like this :

First: In the fourth ball of the second over, on the team score of 12, Kushal Mendis (6) was caught by David Wiese to Keeper Green.

Second: The team score reached 21 runs that Ben Shikongo got Pathum Nisanka (9) caught by Smit.

Third: Danushka Gunathilaka returned to the pavilion without opening an account on 21 runs. Taking a slight edge, Shikongo's ball reached Green's gloves behind the wicket.

Fourth: In the third ball of 6.3 overs, Dhananjay de Silva (12) was caught by Frylink to Shikongo

Fifth: Rajapaksa became the victim of Scholtz in the 11th over. He was caught by Scholtz by Cook. There was a useful partnership of 34 runs between the two.

Sixth: Hasranga also could not play a big innings. He got out after scoring 4 runs. He was caught by Scholtz Lingen.

Seventh: Sri Lanka's last hope captain Dasun Shanaka (29) was dismissed behind the wicket by Frylink.

Eighth: Pramod Madushan was dismissed for zero in 14.2 overs. He was run out by Lingen and Green.

Ninth: Chamika Karunaratne (5) is caught by Smit by the bard.

Tenth: The last wicket of the team fell in the form of Dushmantha Chamira. He was caught by Wiese in the hands of Captain Erasmus.
